The Floor is a small song-voting page for private parties at Trillis. It is run by Aaron Hibberd. This page explains what it keeps when you sign in to vote.
What we collect
- Your Google display name. We show it (or a nickname you choose) next to your votes and in the host's guest list.
- A hashed account id. We turn your Google account id into a one-way code. We never store the original id. The code stops anyone voting twice from another window, and it lets the host enforce a ban.
- What you do at the party. We keep the songs you vote for and add, and which parties you joined. The host uses this to build your guest profile.
- A device cookie and a hashed network address. These are used to keep you signed in and to limit spam. Your actual IP address is not stored.
Your email address is not stored. Google may share it during sign-in, but The Floor throws it away. We never get your Google password, contacts or anything else in your account.
How it's used
Your data is used only for party voting at Trillis. It is never sold, shared for advertising or used for anything else. Only the host can see guest profiles.
Deleting your data
Email [email protected] with the name you used and roughly when you came. We'll delete your profile, votes and history and let you know when it's done. You can also remove The Floor's access at any time from your Google account (Security → Third-party connections).
